Search and source reuse

AI search has a separate allowance: Trial 90 minutes in total, Free 300 per account cycle, Lite 900 and Standard 1800 per subscription cycle. Each submitted group uses its selected source ranges, counting overlapping ranges once, with a 10-minute minimum. Completed searches, including no matches, consume the quoted amount; system failures do not. Processing minutes are unchanged. Reviewing results or recovering the original request is free. Registration carries over trial usage; keywords and exact phrases remain free after the allowance runs out.
All plans can choose one continuous range within their own processed source, check the source and transcript, then create and edit a Clip. Existing settled sources use no additional processing minutes. If an earlier no-Clips result returned its minutes, the first successful creation settles the full processed range once; review the quote before confirming. Failure releases the reservation. Media availability, retention, registration and export limits still apply.

Editing, audio and handoff

Trial and Free can adjust the five settings categories locally, including audio auditions. Applying or saving these settings and saving personal schemes require the relevant plan. Current settings use Apply and save changes to save the clip; scheme application only updates a draft. Media uploads keep their own permissions.
MP3/WAV uses the same processing minutes and duration limits as video. Audiograms turn selected audio clips into MP4 with a cover, background and animated waveform. Free exports up to 720p with a watermark and no captions; Lite and Standard add caption editing and their existing output options. Review audio cuts before applying them. Anonymous, Free, Lite and Standard can translate generated Clip captions into one target language when finding clips. Editing and export keep their plan limits: anonymous users must register to export, and Free MP4 exports have no captions. In Edit captions, switching to translated or bilingual captions and generating or regenerating a translation require Standard.
Handoff packages use saved video clips: FCP7 XML for Premiere/Resolve and FCPXML for Final Cut. Lite handles one clip; Standard handles several clips from the same video. Audio-source clips are not supported. Packages do not include full source files or private fonts, do not extend retention, and do not guarantee lossless transfer of effects. Including saved translated SRT in an editing-software handoff still requires Standard. Background music and its mix are not reconstructed in the handoff package. Confirm their omission before handoff; export MP4 to preserve the finished mix.
Manage all six scheme categories in Brand & styles. Brand settings share the complete-effect allowance; saving a scheme does not change a Clip.

How intent search uses processing time

In the first clip search, you can apply built-in templates and try the conditions locally. Running an intent search and saving personal templates require Lite or above; later intent searches remain read-only for Trial and Free.
The first intent search uses processing time once, just like automatic recommendations.
Searching again after results creates a new processing run based on the original video length.
If no complete new Clip is found, the reserved processing time is returned.
Links and file uploads share your processing allowance and per-video limit. Source access restrictions may prevent retrieval; we do not connect to or sign in to source accounts. Lower-resolution previews do not change your plan’s export resolution. Apple Podcasts audio-only episodes use the show artwork to create a video; processing allowance is based on the actual media duration.

Lite and Standard are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until canceled. Manage renewal in Account. If a month lacks the current renewal day, renewal moves to that month’s last day and later months use the adjusted day.
