Customer Content Use Policy

Covered content and permitted uses

Covered content includes uploaded video, extracted audio, transcripts, scoring inputs and outputs, previews, exports, and technical information needed to access or process that content. It may be used only to deliver the requested service, maintain security, troubleshoot with data minimization, process deletion and support requests, and meet legal duties.

Video content submitted to ClipPrism includes files you upload and content you ask us to process through a video link. We use the submitted link and related source information to provide that requested service. Providing a link does not replace the requirement to own the content or have sufficient authorization. At your request, we retrieve linked media and its title, duration and source information to transcribe, score, preview and export your content. This may involve source audio, lower-resolution previews and original-quality video segments cached for processing, recovery or finding more clips. The same content rights and limited service license apply to uploaded files and linked content. For audio-only Apple Podcasts episodes, we also retrieve and process the show artwork to create a video. Your content rights and the limited service license must cover both the audio and the artwork.

• Production content includes original and derived media, transcripts, scoring inputs and outputs, previews, subtitles, exports, and review data. Security, usage, and deletion records do not include the user content and are kept separately.
• ClipPrism does not automatically copy production content into general model training, human evaluation datasets, demonstrations, marketing, advertising, or public examples. A user-requested support review or any separate optional program must identify its purpose, scope, retention, withdrawal method, and legal basis first.
• Providers receive only what is necessary for infrastructure, storage, speech recognition, or AI analysis. Provider retention, training, human access, and deletion depend on applicable terms and account settings, so ClipPrism cannot guarantee absolute zero retention or zero training by every provider.

Uses prohibited by default

• Training or fine-tuning general models.
• Marketing, advertising, demonstrations, or public case studies.
• Human quality evaluation or evaluation datasets.
• Selling or sharing content for purposes unrelated to the service.

Providers and exceptions

Providers may process content only for the contracted service purpose. Any exception must identify the content, purpose, retention period, and withdrawal method and rely on a separate lawful basis; broad wording in this policy is not consent.
