Agreement and eligibility

By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using ClipPrism, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.

Video content submitted to ClipPrism includes files you upload and content you ask us to process through a video link. We use the submitted link and related source information to provide that requested service. Providing a link does not replace the requirement to own the content or have sufficient authorization. At your request, we retrieve linked media and its title, duration and source information to transcribe, score, preview and export your content. This may involve source audio, lower-resolution previews and original-quality video segments cached for processing, recovery or finding more clips. The same content rights and limited service license apply to uploaded files and linked content. For audio-only Apple Podcasts episodes, we also retrieve and process the show artwork to create a video. Your content rights and the limited service license must cover both the audio and the artwork.

User content and limited license

You retain rights in your content and grant ClipPrism only the limited, non-exclusive permission needed to receive, store, extract audio, transcribe, score, preview, export, and deliver the results you request.

• You must own the content or have sufficient authorization to process it.
• The license does not include general model training, advertising, or marketing.
• Do not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, or unauthorized sensitive personal content.

Plans, billing, and renewal

Paid plans are recurring subscriptions and automatically renew at the price and billing interval shown at checkout until you turn off renewal or the subscription otherwise ends. Checkout or your account shows the final charge, currency, applicable taxes or fees, and next renewal date where available.

• You authorize the payment service provider to charge the selected payment method for each renewal.
• If a month does not contain the current renewal day, renewal moves to that month’s last day and later months continue from that adjusted day. The next renewal date shown at checkout or in your account controls.
• If we change a future renewal price or another material paid term, we will give reasonable advance notice and let you turn off renewal before the change applies, subject to applicable law.

Upgrades and lower-tier plans

For an eligible move from a lower paid plan to a higher plan, you pay the higher plan’s full displayed price. The higher plan starts immediately after payment is confirmed with a new full billing period and renewal date; the price is not prorated against days remaining in the earlier period.

• Remaining paid processing time from the earlier plan stays available only until its original expiry and is not copied into the higher plan.
• If upgrade payment fails or is abandoned, the earlier plan and its renewal setting remain unchanged. After the higher plan activates, ClipPrism attempts to turn off renewal for the earlier plan; check your account if both plans still show an upcoming renewal.
• Automatic downgrade is not currently offered. To move to a lower plan, turn off renewal, wait until all paid plan periods end and the account returns to Free, then purchase the lower plan. Expired processing time does not carry over.

Processing time and expiry

Included processing time is a service allowance, has no cash value, and cannot be transferred between accounts. Each paid balance keeps its own expiry; when several balances are available, ClipPrism normally uses the one that expires first. Unused time expires with its period and does not roll over unless a specific offer or applicable law says otherwise.

• Per-video limits and available features still follow the current highest plan.
• Processing may temporarily reserve time. If a processing attempt does not produce a reviewable result under the displayed usage rules, the reserved time is ordinarily released.

Stopping renewal, payment failures, refunds, and changes

Turning off renewal normally keeps paid access until the current paid period ends; it is not an immediate termination and does not by itself create a refund. A failed or overdue payment may suspend or end the affected paid access. After all paid periods end, the account returns to Free.

We may update these terms for changes to the service, law, security, or our operations and will update the date shown on this page.

• The account action attempts to stop all paid plans that still renew. Review each result; any plan still shown as renewing may renew until the stop request succeeds.
• Unless checkout, a specific offer, or applicable law states otherwise, starting a new period, upgrading, or turning off renewal does not automatically create a prorated credit or refund.
• Nothing in these terms limits withdrawal, refund, cancellation, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
• Material service or paid-term changes will be notified within a reasonable period before they apply when required, and continued use after the effective date means acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• For a material change affecting user rights, payment obligations, content permissions, or personal-data processing, we will provide reasonable advance notice by email, an account notice, or a prominent service notice where required.
• We will request agreement again where applicable law requires it. Continued use after the stated effective date means acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Availability, suspension, and termination

ClipPrism may not be available in every country or region. You may not use the service where applicable law prohibits it. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, unlawful or unauthorized content, abuse, security risk, overdue payment, or a legal requirement. Where reasonably practicable and no urgent risk exists, we will provide appropriate notice.

• Turning off renewal prevents future renewals but normally does not refund the current billing period. Exceptions apply where required by law, promised at checkout, or needed to correct a duplicate charge or billing error attributable to ClipPrism.
• Events beyond our reasonable control may delay, interrupt, or prevent the service. This does not remove any remedy or consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Automated service and limitation of liability

ClipPrism is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. AI-generated clips, transcripts, scores, captions, and recommendations may be incomplete or inaccurate, and you must review them before making them public or relying on them.

• The service supports an anonymous trial and registered accounts. Email-and-password login remains available alongside Google login; Google login requests only basic identity scopes. A necessary session cookie maintains anonymous or signed-in access.
• Current functions include uploading authorized video files or importing video links, audio extraction, speech recognition, transcript-based scoring, clip review, previews, and plan-dependent MP4 exports. Lite and Standard are monthly plans. ClipPrism does not provide unauthorized downloading, scraping, or automatic publishing.
• Reviewable content is normally retained for 3 days for anonymous trials and 30, 90, or 180 days for Free, Lite, or Standard. Failed or non-reviewable tasks use a 7-day short-term boundary. Deleting or expiring content does not automatically refund consumed processing time; a safe usage history may remain visible for the most recent 12 months.
• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ClipPrism is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss.
• To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ClipPrism’s total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid ClipPrism during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
• These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or other liability and consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
