Scope of this policy

This policy covers content you privately submit as files or links to your own ClipPrism account. Because uploads and generated Clips are not publicly searchable or visible to other users, ClipPrism does not currently offer a public process for reporting another user’s content.

Content submitted to ClipPrism includes uploaded MP4 video, MP3/WAV audio, and content you ask us to process through a video link. We use the submitted link and related source information to provide that requested service. Providing a link does not replace the requirement to own the content or have sufficient authorization. At your request, we retrieve linked media and its title, duration and source information to transcribe, score, preview and export your content. This may involve source audio, lower-resolution previews and original-quality video segments cached for processing, recovery or finding more clips. The same content rights and limited service license apply to uploaded files and linked content. For audio-only Apple Podcasts episodes, we also retrieve and process the show artwork to create a video. Your content rights and the limited service license must cover both the audio and the artwork.

Private content and user responsibility

Uploaded videos, audio recordings, and their Clips are only visible to and downloadable by the uploader. You must own the content or have sufficient permission before uploading and processing it.

If your rights are uncertain

If you may not have the required rights, stop using the content. Use Delete video in My content where available, and confirm permanent deletion. This is a self-service action on your content, not a copyright complaint.

  • Deleting content does not refund processing time that has already been settled as used.
  • Safe processing-usage details remain available for reconciliation, while the deleted video name is replaced by an anonymous placeholder.

Editing assets and reusable schemes

Uploading confirms ownership or permission. The same content-rights responsibilities apply to logos, images, videos, and text cards. Do not upload or continue using disputed material. Deleting a video does not delete account assets referenced by other clips; contact support for asset or rights requests.

Audio content and editing-software handoff

The same content-rights requirements apply to MP3/WAV recordings and their music and speech, Audiogram covers, visual elements, and intro/outro assets. Uploading, applying schemes, rendering, or downloading a handoff package does not extend existing licenses. Use outputs within the applicable asset and font licenses. Packages do not include private font files; rebuild caption styles in other software using fonts you are authorized to install and use.

Writing, transcript search, and editing inputs

You must have the rights needed to upload and process music, SRT text, cover images, frames, quotations, and other supplied material, including mixing music into exported work. Selecting a quote, creating a Clip or image, or generating writing does not establish ownership, clear third-party rights, or expand an asset’s license.
